Our Sushi
Rolled to order, never sitting in a chiller.
Made when you order it
Most takeaway sushi is made in the morning and eaten at night. Ours isn’t. Every roll, every piece of nigiri, every slice of sashimi is made after you order it, that’s the whole point of a sushi bar, and it’s why the rice is still slightly warm and the fish tastes like fish.
Know your rolls
Sashimi is just the fish, sliced, nothing to hide behind. Nigiri is a slice of fish pressed over seasoned rice. Maki is the classic six-piece roll wrapped in nori seaweed. Uramaki turns it inside-out, rice on the outside, that’s your California Roll. And futomaki is the big one: fat rolls with more filling than should be legal.
Then there are our signature rolls, where the Korean side of the kitchen gets involved. Gochujang, tempura crunch, torched toppings: things a traditional sushi bar wouldn’t do, and we think that’s a shame.

Aburi, the blowtorch bit
Our Seared Volcano Rice Bowls are finished aburi-style, the seafood is torched to order, so the surface caramelises while the inside stays delicate. It smells outrageous and tastes better.

Feeding a party?
Our sushi sets run from a solo Veg Lover box (£9.90) up to the 46-piece Celebration Set for three to four people (£59.50), hand-arranged with carved fruit garnishes. Please give us an hour’s notice for the big one; it takes time to make something look like that.
